thats why i said decent and not nice or good. it was listenable being the first time i heard of him. as a new artist i thought he was decent. at least to the point to where he had some potential to grow and decent enough to check in on the dude now and then and see if he is improving or not. this track however is a lot like the diary was. decent skill when it comes to his flow but the content isnt there. if he had a nice ghostwriter dude would be better. ill check out the full tape though probably just to see if there are any tracks with some originality. if not i may not check out much after that.

but everybody who's saying he doesn't have much lyrical content might want to take a second look. A good song is his first single, Gone, i think off of Diary of an ATL Brave. He's saying some pretty good shit. He just doesn't make it pop out like a lot of other artists. but to each his own and what not.

I wouldn't go out and slam the entire city, he's probably generalizing because ATL has been as of late putting out mostly garbage so that's the message to the world of thats all they have to offer, maybe if ya'll supported the good artist out there like ya'll use too when Outkast was out it wouldnt be so easy to pick on atl.. right now ya'll scene is being represented by a couple of clowns and everybodies starting to shy away from it and not take atl music seriously like they use too.

And most cities in other states have something for everybody, Atl is a transient city so there's people from all over that lives there not too much home grown talent being brought up there it's mostly somebody from another city lookin to make some quick bread and get out.. For example a small city like New Orleans has been pumping out some of the most well known talent and some of the biggest names in music and has a huge diversity, from Terrance blanchard to Mystikal to B.G. To Wayne, to Jay Electronica list goes on and they all home grown.
