Good Auction Script?

I'm looking to start a alternative website to Ebay and was noticing a few websites like eBid, UBid, and Swoopo that seem to be pretty good with the amount of traffic they get. Can someone recommend a customizable script where I can set up my own website and attract visitors I'm pretty good at php and some design so that's not a issue, just don't want to spend to much. Thanks.
