I still bump THE COOL as least every other week. This dude spits some lyrical fire. Saw him open for Jay-z at Mohegan Sun casino here in CT back in May. Lupe was the surprise opener for Jay. Needless to say Lupe killed that shit! Was a very happy fan at the end of the night!!

Have to say, lyrically he chopped the beats up, could have chose some better beats but did kill just about every beat he rapped over.. 8/10 pretty damn good, worth the download to check out.., im awaken by dude's flow, it's a breath of fresh air to hear him flow clean over the Beats.

If you like this mixtape, you should really check out Da Exam. Has a great track called "And he Gets the Girl." The Cool is one of the few rap cds that has a theme throughout. Def not your typical mc. Food and Liquor has just straight classics, but who doesnt like Go Go Gadget Flow off of The Cool? lol

get Audacity Audio Editing program or any MP3 editor.. You can split em up yaself. I would do it but the lil time i do take to post on here is kinda on my breaks at work and between the time im about to head to bed- in other words im too busy, But the splitting of the tracks can easily be done, im sure somebody on here got time to do it for you if you don't feel like doin it.

In my own opinion Lupe is the best rapper alive. Dude flows about stuff that i can actualy relate to or has interest. Ive been listenin to him since day one and hes still coming out with hot shit. Dude flows with a purpose, im not trying to knock wayne or any other rapper but to mean they all rapping bout the same thing. It might just be over a different beat but its all the same. Lupe can take that beat and kill it and wont even mention a thing that was on the original track or use what was said in the same context
