I've been Bangin the soapbox on that issue for a minute man, The Mixtape thing is just not the same no more, it's like Clear Channel Radio stations without the FCC rules and regulations, we all know how Clear Channel work, If a artist agent or recording label put up the money to promote him/her they get playing time on the airwaves, otherwise you don't hear of them no matter how good they are or how better they would sound compared to the bigger artist out there. All these DJ's are getting paid by the labels of these artist to stick some of their garbage tracks and already released singles on "So Called" mixtapes, i think it's time to give it a new name, Mixtapes is not what this shit is, this is Commercial-Tapes or Sponsored-Tapes, Mixtapes were meant to be around for people to hear underground shit that wouldn't get heard on air at some point or ever, or promote artist that aren't signed yet, the shit being shitted out by these artist and served out by Big mouth DJ's now is just Pre-sale albums and Junk tracks that was left on the Table after recording their real shit, Lil wayne has mastered just that, i like the dude and all but the thought of him releasing another mixtape just makes me want to grind my teeth, ENOUGH already, there approximately a week left before the release of his official album, stop the Promotional shit and just listen to what you have already from lil waynes junk list until his Album drop. He did such a good job promoting this Album that if the album just all around stink people gone listen to it anyway and bump it because he's now "Whats Hot" and if you aint got Lil Wayne CD in your car your potna's are probably most likely gonna Diss yo ass, thats how bad it got.. im ready for some Real mixtapes finally.

EXACTLY! wtf does he do? he just puts some songs on a disc and screams on em. thats NOT what a dj does. not to mention he recycles tracks and steals remixes from REAL DJs.
