uk grime peeps are decendant from black slaves in the carribean, mostly, with a couple african nations repd in d scene thru recent immigration an obviously the indigenous white boys, we share a similar history to those of you in US decendant from black slaves... its a well known fact that african peeps used to tell story thru a kind of rapping so its in the culture of all of us from way back... as for grime bein decendant from house check ur facts. garage was decendant from the old rave scene bak in the day wen most of us was little youts.. round 97 times there was d garage ting an d jungle ting both decendant off that same rave scene that house was also decendant off, concurrently, not linearly, the 'house' that was played at house n g sets was more like speed garage than house, yes 'dance music' with mc's toastin an chattin just like our carribean forefathers did on there dub sets, our 'rap' evolved out of that scene, peeps like scratch perry originatin Dub Reggs at d same time as ur new yorkers originatin rap. yes we grew up on ur hip hop an who can deny that peeps like nas pac and all the other americans mentioned are legends, but we also had all ur pop shit too like mc fuckin hammer, an a lot of wannabees, snow man from toronto springs to mind wantin to be jamaican....
its all swings an roundabouts, yes there are influences wen we hear a sik flow but dont get it wrong the major influences come from our culture, we are perfectin our own music not immitatin yours. most grime boys if they had grime taken away would turn to dubstep, ragga, dancehall and dnb before they turned to US hiphop, it is a scene in itself an we dont need no justifications from anyone else. that said if you dont know who wiley is dont fuckin click on his mixtape an start dissin UK grime. keep to fiddy or whoeva ur listenin to.

Actually 2pac and biggie had much bigger impacts in hiphop before them. I mean people like KRSone, Public enemy and whoever.
I love how the "creaters" of hiphop get so fucking defensive when another country brings out their own version of "hiphop" (In which us british people call "Grime")
You don't moan about French hiphop artists, Danish, Austrian, Japanise, Korean?
Its all hiphop at the end of the day so just appreciate it.
