Tampa only slow's the tracks down, it's no choppin or screwin or nothin special, they simply change the Tempo to -30 on all tracks. Anybody can do that, but if you want it i can go get my homeboys CD and rip it and upload it to hotfile.

Living in Tampa the good amount of year's i've been here i've grown accustomed to people out here listening to slowed down track's i couldn't relate to it nor wanted to, but it don't really bother me as much as it use to, Im Originally from Jefferson Parish in New Orleans and out there it was Bounce: (we like our live dance shit and watchin females shake-down contest), if you wanted to relax and smoke there was so much music from unsigned local and local label signed artist makin shit we never really had to venture out and edit other people's shit to smoke to it, nigga's just found nice tracks and got on the mic and spit a few feel good tracks and sold it outta they trunk, which is why Curren$y and other kats like him evolved into what they are today that everybody like so much.

They just make smoke session tracks all day and we just sat on the porch and bumped those tracks...

Then of course we have the Psycho murk music, murder shit, street shit, grimy shit, Commercial shit, trap shit etc..

They still got artist out there doing it, but the commercial shit is what you get to hear on the radio nowadays.

Since Louisiana is so close to Texas, you might hear some Chopped and Screwed tracks being bumped out there, New Orleans and Houston is sister cities, each area got somebody relative either from Houston or New Orleans in either city so kin folks bring they music back to each state or share it and now if you visit Houston you might hear some Bounce tracks played in the clubs and in New Orleans you might hear some Chopped in screwed DJ tracks gettin it in, Slowed tracks was started by mistake by some white boys trying to find hidden messages in Heavy Metal songs they was reversing the tracks and slowing them down, Tampa bay kinda made Hip hop Slowed tracks popular locally, it never made it outside of Florida, i don't even think anyone outside of Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, Spring Hill, Brandon, Pinellas, Temple Terrace, Plant City, University and Zephyrhills Counties bump Slowed tracks anymore to tell you the truth, i travel a good bit throughout Central and South Florida almost weekly.

I see a couple of cats up'n dragged tapes on DatPiff all the time but they never get no love. People always in their shit complaining about "why this isn't chopped??" That shit is just plain boring to me. Atleast for us Texas niggaz it is because when we on that lean everything sounds slow already so we chop it up to give it some flavor. Will be for smokers, I finally learned how to create Acapella's out of just about anything so im taking top billboard singles and random unsigned or local label artist tracks, and doing a all out remix of em with Custom Beats i had stashed away.. should be done by July, Hopefully get it up on here.. I wanna have at least 12-16 tracks completed. Can't get MFizzle to respond to none of my messages on Mixfiend so it might end up on Datpiff first.
