I took some time to listen to it some more, and it's barely listenable, im gonna go and say 2 songs are actually worth downloading off this entire thing.. I don't know if it's Lil Waynes fault or the DJ's and Fans fault for erkin him on to put out the same ol'e Bullshit, that Vocorder shit he do is startin to get on my fuckin nerves, i wanna punch something everytime i hear it now!! Why nigga's can't leave well enough alone!, Let that Ugly ass Nigga T-Pain have that shit! find ya own thing!.. Good thing this aint a album and Wayne aint relying on Sales from this, it would have shitted on his career.. Don't Blame Wayne for this, blame ya'll The fans for buying that shit regardless of how shitty it is.. the tape is mediocre compared to D1 & D2 but it wasn't horrible..i think young money pretty much saved this tape (especially millz)..the only thing i can say i didn't like about it is the singing and wayne was just wildin out..he was sayin alotta stupid shit although he did have some dope tracks and hot lines here and there.. the best tracks are "dick pleaser" & the one with drake..

Dedication 3 is a solid mixtape. Wayne is tight on all the songs, and the beats are fresh, and the execution well thought out. Just the wait alone on this mixtape peeps went crazy. The hits google got on it is amazing, the most tagged and sought after mixtape alive right now. Probably because people want more new Lil Wayne. Lets be honest folks Wayne kills it for us 90% percent of the time, and constantly. Think about the fact that he literally has a new song or verse dropped nearly every 3 days. Really sometimes 4, and this is like an added bonus. Thats why we the fans love how he really works hard, I for one take real appreciation for that and see it in his music. Lil wayne is the number one rapper out there right now, and it shows. Will it fade or will he fall off? Maybe, but the way he works, I hope he has a friggen VAULT of unheard wayne, cuz Ill always be interested. Good tape overall, compared to all the fake Dj Whiteowl, Biggy Jiggy, and other UNEXCLUSIVE mixtapes that steal from the real ones like this, this tape REIGNS SUPREME

i think we can all agree that lil wayne is indeed a good rapper. HOWEVER, if you really believe that he is anywhere near "best rapper alive" status, you either: 1. do not listen to a variety of rap to make a more educated statement 2. ride this bandwagon of 'hip hop pop' that has lil wayne leading the pack 3. still haven't figured out that most of his verses are purely freestyle/improvisational. i mean why else do you think his lyrics are so simple to recite? (besides the fact that he gets ridiculous amounts of airplay) the reason you cannot compare him to influential artists like andre 3000, tupac, biggie, jay z, nas, eminem, etc... is simply because HE DOES NOT SAY SHIT ON THE MAJORITY OF HIS SONGS. his songs are composed of catchy punchlines and wordplay, which he and all of the aforementioned rappers are good at. unlike lil wayne, these artists have been able to incorporate much deeper meanings within the wordplay and punchlines, giving the listener a new perspective on whatever the topic may be. (remember reasonable doubt, the eminem show, illmatic, just to name a few) but when a song is has NOTHING BUT LINES LIKE THIS: "my criteria compare to you're career just isn't fair; i'm a venereal disease like a menstrual i bleed." that's the type of shit you expect to hear from him. he is hardly going to say anything inspiring, meaningful, or something you could quote on his tombstone. now i am someone that HATES young jeezy, but even the snowman had more to say in thug motivation 101, and many people, whether college student, drug dealer, or pizza man could appreciate this album simply because they could relate to it somehow. it's hard to relate to what mental creativity arises from syrup, cocaine, weed, codeine, and alcohol. which is why it only makes sense that lil wayne has been backed by some of the best producers in the industry. it transforms his rhymes into THE party song, THE riding around in the car song, and THE get fucked up song. or better yet, THE POP SONG. i will give credit where credit is due, because i have heard the man speak when he is sober and he still has enough intelligence to do what it takes to still make money despite the fact that most people simply don't pay for music. but the music industry is about giving the people what they want, whether its millions of fucking idiots, dickriders, or 15 year olds....it all translates to millions of $$$$$ maybe one day if the intelligence/lyrical content demand pendulum swings back around, he'll change his style up and unlock his true potential. i'd love to see what he could do with andre 3000 or pharell or lupe. until then, history will repeat itself, at least for 2009. time to listen to this bullshit haha
