no. lil wayne is an artist. artists express themselves in various ways. currently, many hip-hop artists are hopping on the t-pain bandwagon and using vocal synthesizers to make their voices sound better when they try to sing (as opposed to when they rap). some artists do this once, i.e. for a single, and they move on. others, use it a little more often, maybe even make a career of it (t-pain). but what lil wayne is doing can be described as a phase. not everyone can continue to use a vocal synthesizer for every song, and i do not believe lil wayne plans on doing that. also, i believe he is balanced in the amount of times he uses a vocal synthesizer and raps or sings without it.
