First time commenting, second time visiting to say: This is one expertly crafted audio journey. DJ Neil Armstrong creates a sonic tableau of stitched arrangements that maintains the true definition of what a classic mixtape should be. He blends together 30-odd years of hip hop with the classic LPs that their sources are culled from. Never didactic or pedantic (whatever the fuck that means, pretentious douchey Pitchfork readin fuckup), our DJ provides a well-seamed meld of classic hip hop with the dusty American vinyl, crated from thrift stores and record bins. Steve Harvey finds a voice between Michael MacDonald, Anita Baker, and Foreigner, while Wu Tang, KRS and Jigga noddingly approve. Mister DJ Neil Armstrong, consider this a psychic pat upon your back. When I see you, I will hand you the cake, because it has your name on it, and you take it. There can be no complaint made of it, save that it should be long enough to play all night. FOCK YEAGH! Seriously it's really good.
