Keep grindin folk... aye i wanna know what you mean you tryin to push away from the sound coming from Houston? imma advise you not to do that if you talkin about the beats.. if you talkin about 'verse delivery' wise then yea thats good, but beats leave that alone, you do not want Houston producers against working with you.. FWIW just ask em to change it up for you tempo wise and give you your own sound, but avoid sayin anything like "i don't want to sound like whats coming outta my city".. just a tip.

In New Orleans Slimm we idolize Slimm like he's on Tupac level which as far as the South goes he was on a smaller scale the South's Tupac, roll through his hood and you'll see portraits of him on massive walls and he's mentioned in a lot of songs out there even in some Brass Band Jazz songs.

After ya'll let Mike Jones ruin Houston Music scene it aint never been the same, Atlanta came up from under ya'll and and stole the mic and hit the ground running with it since 2005, so Houston music scene dwindled down man, lots of good local act's out there though and the big name artist are hibernatin or somethin but who's running the music scene is measured by how many "Big" well known artist are coming outta your town and eating up radio/tv airwaves.. right now thats Atlanta, Miami, Detroit, Chicago, New York and New Orleans is still in there sporadically and i see a huge shift coming soon in who's going to hold it down for Hip Hop, VERY soon!...

i check this out for the good feed back, and it is not bad wasnt feeln the production myself but it worth a listen im out....ONE $-STILL GOT A BRAIN FREEZE-$
