G-Unit's "Elephant In The Sand" wins the first round. The quality of music (the only thing that matters to us listeners) is much better in G-Unit's case. Everything and everybody sounds the same these days. Most these dudes sound like a continuation of the old Blackwall/Dipset wit' Cyssero's flow. I think these guys should stick to murder, drugs, and prostitution. I applaud Fat Joe's effort to not give in to the beef rapping though. I'd much rather listen to D-Block wit' their "Night of the Living Pt. 3" than either of these camps. Best tracks on here are Victim, and Million Dollar Swag wit' Grafh.
I think there is two sides to this story though. The street credibility side, and the business/money side. 50 Cent is making business moves while these other guys are making street moves, therefore 50 is always gonna come out on top while these guys are gonna keep gettin' locked up. Fat Joe's idea of a business move is leaching off the hottest act, whether it be Pun, Big L, J-Lo, Mariah Carey, Lil' Wayne, Rick Ross, etc. etc. The K.A.R. ARE for real but the FACT IS, I'm never gonna know how many people they killed, how much weight they push, or even if Fat Joe OR 50 is a snitch. I think 50 Cent is tryin' to add some spark to G-Unit's music while takin' away from Fat Joe's, and Joe is tryin' to get 50 status by getting him merked.
