let me start by sayin that this tape is straight flamez!!!!!!!!!!!! Second NY rap is ONLY considered fucked up to those that live outside the NY area and also by those that judge music off album sales, to me the corniest thing you could possibly do!!!!! I think its the "good music" that doesnt sell, you know the good shit that 12 year olds and chicks wont buy, the Jada album is FIRE, i dont think his fan base includes too many kids 17 and under, white kids, chicks, or the auto tune lovers, so his album aint doin so well, but what i can tell ya is that EVERYONE who knows what good music is has the last kiss LP, every real nigga has the kiss LP, feel me? So what you should say is NY album sales are fucked up, not the music cuz, i rather listen to NY & Philly hip-hop anyday over this fag ass auto tune dance music thats for sure, outside the NY area rappers are killin hip-hop, but NY album sales are dead cause 90% of the real music we put out aint got no auto tune or new dances to do, and that my man is why ppl like you say NY rap is fucked up! There's alot of good music coming out the tri-state every week homie, just D/L them whiteowl drop that's, 99% pure fire from NY!!!

Next time relate the lack of money these "good NY rappers" bring in to their lack of released content. If "good" music wasn't selling, then the game would shut down. Just because your favorite rappers aren't everyone's favorite rappers doesn't mean that the game is dying. "Feel me?"

Ok let me break it down for you a little betta since your a little too slow to grasp on to what im tryna say! There is "GOOD MUSIC" and there is "POPULAR MUSIC" and sometimes but very rare anymore you get BOTH outta one artist. Now im gonna speak on behalf of 99% of tri-state people here, we like "GOOD MUSIC" that doesnt consist of dance steps, auto tune, and funny little girl noises (ayyyy) goin on in the background every 6 seconds if ya know what i mean, we like REAL HIP-HOP, that D-Block, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Cassidy, Uncle Murda, CAMRON, etc etc etc. Now them guys dont sell good lets face it, but your gonna tell me they dont make "GOOD MUSIC"??? FEEL ME!!!!!!!! Now you have a guy like soulja boy who went 17 times platinum, so i guess thats good music??? No its POPULAR music, and thats why the "game wont shut down" but hip-hop will eventually die, it will all just be a bunch of bullshit cause the artist that make REAL HIP-HOP aint selling, feel me? But then you also have artists that make both the good music & popular music but its rare, like T.I., he might be faker than a $3 bill but he makes some good music, Eminem does both, but its cause he's white, if Em were to be born a black man he would be whenever Canibus is right now LOL, face it! The bottom line is REAL HIP-HOP DOESNT SELL ANYMORE, if you dont use auto tune and spit over jiggy beats than your album will flop NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE LYRICS ARE, lyrics do not sell anymore and THATS WHY hip-hop is dying!!!! There are very few artists anymore that make real hip-hop to me "GOOD MUSIC" and isnt it funny that 90 something % are from the tri-state area???? think about it!

man i dont think you get what i was trying to say im saying the NY scene is fucked up we dont have the community that we once had with every1 trying to put everyone else on that is what i am saying is fucked up lets not forget that NY has also put out more than there fair share of "ringtone rappers". I was certainly not saying NY has no good artists or that the only good artists are the ones that sell. Now i did say that the NY music scene is fucked up and the Philly scene is even more fucked up with their artists not getting any coast to coast love with the exception of pretty much cassidy (who is a beast). There are lyricts on every coast and from every walk of life and every genre of hip hop the fact is more people have to weed out the garbage and marketing to get to the quality artists which is exactly what this site is for to weed through the trash and find those hidden gems and get that GOOD music
