Both are young dudes with pluses and minuses. Gucci is probably the most entertaining rapper right now with the lazy flow, weird adlibs, surreal metaphors, goofy sense of humor and his beats are easily the hardest things going. But he is really repetitive and simplistic. And for a guy with like 500 songs, he's only had maybe 25 really GREAT songs. Young Dro is the most promising dude in the South IMO. He seems like a good dude with a good head on his shoulders, his flow is always on point and he has some pretty crazy lines sometimes. Reminds me of Cam'ron and Ghostface with his weird slang and original style. Not to mention crazy fashion sense. But he'll probably just stay a cult favorite like those 2 are.

Believe me I am a Dro FAN. Nigga is probably one of my favs. He doesn't over saturate the market so hes good to check for. Moreover, I HATED this tape when I first heard it. He really did sound yayed out...horribly. But you gotta let it grow on you. (and as a principal avoid songs he does with Yung LA, unless it is on "Black Boy Swag White Boy Tags". Young Dro raps like LA on them, and its not a good look.
