How To Upload Mixtapes

This is a step by step guide with screenshots to show you how easy it is to create your own torrents to share with the masses.

YOU MUST FIRST HAVE APPLIED TO BE AN UPLOADER @ MixFiend.com

If you haven't already, download Azureus

1. Open Azureus

2. Click 'File', then 'New Torrent'

3a. Now you'll want to choose an 'External Tracker'

3b. Depending on if the mixtape is a single file or a folder (directory), choose accordingly

3c. Click 'Next'

4a. Now select your file or directory

4b. Click 'Next'

5. Leave everything as is and click 'Finish' - Azureus will now create your torrent file

6. Now that your torrent is ready, goto www.MixFiend.com and click 'Upload Torrent'

7a. Browse to your torrent file and select it

7b. If your content includes an .nfo file, select it

7c. Now enter a torrent name, description and choose the category that best fits your torrent

7d. After you finish filling out all of the info, click 'Upload Torrent'

8. A confirmation screen will appear letting you know your torrent has been successfully uploaded. Now you'll want to download a copy of the torrent you just uploaded, this will begin the seeding. REMEMBER TO SEED FOR ATLEAST 24 HOURS

9. Congrats! Pretty simple huh? If you want the torrent to get downloaded even faster, consider adding it to other torrent sites such as www.mininova.org & www.torrentreactor.net

10. EMAIL US or PM mfizzel to have your torrent added to the mixtape directory at www.MixtapeTorrent.com - this will increase the amount of peers downloading and everyone will get the torrent much quicker.

i used to used random ports

i used to used random ports and never had a problem so i dont think you have to change em. If you have a specific port forwarded then just stick with that but otherwise you just go about it in the same way. I've used azureus, bitcomet and utorrent and i know utorrent is the easiest when it comes to creating. i upload on demonoid pretty often and its so easy to add multiple trackers and everything is just all around neater. If i find tim i'll try to make an upload guide for utorrent users but i doubt it'll be soon. college is a bitch.

Utorrent is the best torrent app and if you want to know how to do it in Utorrent - you do it the same way - if you are still confused go to Utorrent's site and click on GUIDES on the menu up top. it is easy. i am suprised you dont know how to make a torrent. pretty sad.

it is the same process basically for every torrent app to make a torrent. for Utorrent, go to their site and go to GUIDES on the menu up top. this is sad you guys are confused.

hey, im trying to upload to mixfiend and have successfully created torrent w/azureus. i cant add a whole folder to the "add .torrent file" section. it will only let me add one song and i can not understand the logic behind that. please help, i want to contribute to these sites. thanks.

You have to create a torrent

doesnt azureus create a torrent when you click create torrent? i had two windows open, 1) azureus and 2)the upload guide and thats why im puzzled and very frustrated w/myself for not understanding it.

MFizzel and the crew only put current shit on MixtapeTorrent. Only like new singles, tapes and realy rare mixtapes and etc. But they pick what they want on here.

Utorrent

the directory you selected is where its saved. you can pick the directory you want it saved to in Utorrent (best torrent app. ASSZOORUSTY sucks.
