Blackheart Adonis is a recording artist/producer/songwriter/engineer from Waterbury, CT. As ambitious and as focused as any man could be, Blackheart, surely, has a bright future in the music industry. The State of Connecticut is an untapped, and often overlooked, market that has not yet birthed a shining star; until now. Blackheart Adonis aims to put CT on the map and reveal the potential of a state, in which, many a talented artist dwell. Blackheart, himself, is a clear representation of what talent, hard work, and dedication can yield; quality lyrics, quality production, and quality music. Blackheart’s musical production has appeared on numerous mix tapes, including, Big Mike, Bigg Premiere, DJ Infrared Scope, CEO Keyz, just to name a few. In 2006, in recognition of Blackheart’s production efforts, he was locally crowned ‘Producer of the Year' by T.N. Production’s local access cable television show The Music TV, which aired on SKYE Cable Channel 13. The buzz surrounding Blackheart’s production even allowed him the chance to visit 50 Cent’s home studio, with a certified G-Unit music engineer, and secured him a meeting with 50’s personal assistant. He was allowed a listening session to submit a few tracks for an upcoming G-Unit project. In 2006, 2007, and part of 2008 Blackheart hit Connecticut’s radio station, Hot 93.7, on the production end, with two tracks, “On the Low” and “Let’s Get Money,” produced for a local CT act. “Let’s Get Money,” won two awards at the Connecticut's Holla Back Video Awards; for 'Song of the Year' and 'Video of the Year.' “Let’s Get Money” featured a cleverly chopped sample from T-Pain's smash hit "Buy You a Drank." The quality of production of “On the Low” and “Let’s Get Money” was a testament to the hard work and effort that Blackheart so often implements. The songs gained massive exposure, subsequently, being placed in regular radio rotation. This marked the first time in Connecticut history a local act was placed in rotation. At this current time, Blackheart is writing and self-producing his own, long overdue, album project. Also, performing, in any venue available, and actively submitting his songs and instrumental tracks to film, television, and music industry enterprises. On the artist side, Blackheart Adonis has been featured on mix tapes, both locally and abroad. Most recently, he landed a slot on an overseas mix tape (DJ Ophax) and released a mixed CD called "The Time Bomb Mixtape", hosted by Bigg Premiere, in which, Blackheart is in rare form, going hard on every hook and bar. Blackheart is also featured on the brand new Conn Artists Entertainment, LLC mix tape ‘Dolla to a Dream,’ hosted by DJ Big Mike and a DJ D1 mix tape, alongside Conn Artists, ’Look What You Made Me Do.’ On this project he played the role of producer/artist/engineer. The project is slated for release sometime this current year. Blackheart Adonis looks to the future in positive light. Upon establishing his State Representatives sound as a brand to remember, Blackheart hopes to create niche in the music industry as one of the most talented and original artists to date, by creating a special sound that he can call his own; a signature, not only for himself, but for all of the State Of Connecticut, and the City of Waterbury. "I understand that some things in life are not meant to be, no matter how hard we wish for them. This is not one of them. Every person designs his or her own path; God gives us the free will to do so. When you want something, you can wait for it or go get it. This is why I feel that my success is imminent. It is only a matter of grind."
