Listen, the kid isn't rapping about real shit, and hasn't since so far so gone. I'm a huge drake fan just from that mixtape, but since then his shit has gotten less and less real and more dumbed down, which is a shame. I mean, So Far So Gone wan't truly honest either (kid had cash and a career before he broke into rap, hence alot of his songs aren't truly from his experience) but alotta people could identify with what he was saying. I mean honestly, besides the flow being sick, do you think songs like Uptown and forever are truly real? comon now.

Not gonna knock the dude, just not feelin this, either way much of it is old tracks, with a few bonus material, and he's lyrical but i feel like he's getting too relaxed as if he already got the game on lock, when he was a lil hungrier earlier on he had my interest now it's like, 1 or 2 songs out of every 15 songs he put out that is good..
But tell you what, the girls are eatin it up, they love them some Drake, so some nikka's might have to bite down and bump some drake if they want a guarantee to draw females eyes over
But he's probably one of the best young rappers out right now, who else you can put up that can lyrically throw down with the big elites like he do?

I mean, I kinda think lyrically he's pretty simple. Def can't compete YET with a Wayne or Em. Your def right tho, kid needs to go back to what made him some cash. He's becoming overcomercialized in my opinion and has lost what little street appeal he had by making songs for the radio. To me he's dumbing it down WAAAY too early in his career. Maybe if his hype had started dropping he could drop the ball and start making money songs, but damn he is everywhere, payed, and has what looks to be a sick album on the way. No point selling out THIS early.
