Today's Message

The fact that there's 90 comments about a half-naked fat guy on the cover of a 50 Cent mixtape and NONE on this mixtape speaks a lot on the current state of hip-hop, and more importantly the world. IT'S TWISTED, for real! Snitchin' back and forth, all the while frontin' like real G'z. Meanwhile y'all are unrighteously being mislead further and further from the truth, and the REAL. Feeding this negativity, and in turn the OTHER SIDE. Real recognize real period...G'z show love! Like Pac said, "I try to tell these motha f*ckaz they ain't see/ don't make enemies wit' me!" I know it's been said a million times before but, y'all DON'T KNOW nothin' bout this real hip-hop/rap music, and should be held accountable for it's downfall. Show some respect for this sh*t....And take note that I'm NOT "dry snitchin'" on 50 or Fat Joe in particular, just the ignorant dumba**es in this culture that are ruinin' the music, and changing OUR view of what's really important. CHUCH!! Soooo, why don't I hear none of this west coast sh*t right here on the east? Huh? I still can't figure that one out....It's time we take it back. Whad up 'CUDJS'? They say, "hip-hop ain't dead, it lives in the south." Naaah, I think it's been asleep in the West...and now it's on the "rise." I'm feelin' a lot of sh*t on this podcast/session/mixtape, but I don't ever get to here none of it. That "Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It Remix" is somethin' serious. Another thing, since you heathens don't think the music out now is WORTHY of buying, and are confused about who's "FIRE" and who's not, wouldn't it make sense to go out and support the veteran artists like Ice Cube(if anybody)? If you truly WANT real rap/hip-hop to come back, that is my advice. Carry On Tradition! Show these new cats that the veterans are STILL the TRUTH and let them lead the new generation. Oh, and that new Talib Kweli is the truth too. P.S. Whad up 'bluemercury'? P.S.S. Does anybody know where I can get a splitter? "I can shoot me a cat, in the head wit' a gat/ Or a man that considers me a n*gga when I'm back/ in the slums, waitin' for a check like a bum/ Look how I did them n*ggaz often numb (hard)/ I got this dro, fulla hoe's, liquor store is up the road/ Big church on the corner wit' a spot for my rose/ A Glock for my foe's, wipein' snot from my nose/ I'm guilty of it all, but I am not gonna fold" -Scarface Support the veterans, DJ's, & real artists. i fell your point of view dawg but

I fell your point of u dawg but nah man supportin the veterans and the djs and the solution to the problem for me. Veterans has achieved to leave out their mark in hip hop culure and we gratefull to them for that, but 2 me the new blood should have the most of our attention. And i'm not talkin bout the mainstream. cause u know pretty demn well that the mainstream artists is the cause of this whole problem! there r underground artists out there that realy worth the attention, rappers that keepin it real, rappers that feel the game. but they r not idustry's best interest to support them. if u know what i mean. and the sad thing is that most of the famous djs r followin this situation accordin to their own interests and the majority of the fanz listen to what the media give'em 2 listen. u know i'm not anymore worried bout what will happen with hip hop. I'm sure that there always gonna be REAL artists out there that will do it for the love of the game, for the respect of the hood and the streets.. There are artists like that even today, i can name o a few masta ace, emc, tragedy, immortal tech., jedi mind, cormega, sha stimuli, wiz khalifa, gemini, nino bless, ali vegas, grafh, st.laz, silent knight, skyzoo, geolani, saigon, syc osyrus and many more (i'm talkin mainly bout east coast hip hop). perhaps we can start puttin our hopes to them and pray to god that the funz will get sick of the mainstream worthless mofuckas that been drinkin their blood all this time.. HIP HOP AINT DEAD, IT LEAVES THROU' THE UNDERGROUND!!!peace

We both right.

Good point, it does live through the underground. I think the combination is the answer though. If the veterans that already have the respect & trust of the masses merge, look out for, and promote new underground talent hip-hop will return to full strength and prosper. I think we see a FEW established cats doin' that already but it's still up to us to point them out for these idiots. People would have no choice but to respect, and believe in the new cat if they got that "veteran pass," ya digg? Dipset is a perfect example. But as we see now, eventually the game will push 'em apart and they'll have to go their seperate ways and try to keep steady. THEN, it's up to us again to not feed into that bullsh*t! Exactly why you and I can have this conversation, and them industry cats can't. Can It All Be So Simple? Peace to da Clan.....Keep it thoro street fam. "Aiyyo that's amazing, gun in your mouth talk, verbal foul hawk/ Connect thoughts to make my manchild walk/ Swift notarizer, Wu-Tang, all up in the high-riser/ New York Yank' visor, world tranquilizer/ Just a dosage, delegate my Clan with explosives/ While, my pen blow lines ferocious/ Mediterranean, see y'all, the number one draft pick/ Tear down the beat God, then delegate the God to see God/ The swift chancellor, flex, the white-gold tarantula/ Track truck diesel, play the weed God, substantiala/ Max mostly, undivided, then slide in, sickenin'/ Guaranteed, made 'em jump like Rod Strickland" -Raekwon Support the veterans, DJ's & real artists. Intelligence reigns supreme

This is one of the most intelligent and well thought out pieces of commentary I have read since I have entered this website. Incredible insight, mad props to you and I give all thanks to the creator that intelligent heads are not extinct in HIP HOP. I look forward to more of your comments. As for the status quo bullshit flip flop that is being played and touted as real hip hop throughout the country and beyond, an industry correction needs to be made. My radio dial never gets close to these fake ass stations out here. If it were possible I would bomb everyone of these wack ass stations for perpatrating a fraud. The real shit will shine through everytime. In the late eighties and early nineties we were teaching each other through the music. We learned about the east coast, the west coast, the midwest, and the dirty south from each other through our tales of the streets or vegetarianism or 5 percenters and whole host of other things that we taught each other thru the wax on a mainstream level. That has been taken away and replaced with this bragging ass bullshit about cars, clothes, and hoes. How many more tracks about this garbage will be made before it is completely dead? We need Knowledge to Reign Supreme over Nearly Every ONE!!!!!!!

Thanks 'krammsp'.

I try! Most of these cats postin' are all the same. My advice...VOICE your opinion and shake them haters, cuz that's the only way ANYBODY will see the light.
